STUDENT PROGRAM
🌟 Photography for Wellbeing and Perspective 🌟
In today’s fast-paced world, students are under more pressure than ever — academically, socially, and emotionally. What if there were a simple, creative way to help them pause, express themselves, and build resilience?
We invite you to offer your students to get “Snap Happy” — a unique, 90-minute experience that blends basic photography with powerful wellbeing practices.
Using just a smartphone or camera, students will learn to see the world (and themselves) differently, gaining skills in self-awareness, mindfulness, and emotional resilience — all while engaging their natural creativity.

OVERVIEW

Supports Mental Health
Students learn a practical, accessible strategy for managing stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges through creativity and mindfulness.

Develop Critical Thinking
Photography exercises teach students to shift perspective, observe details, and think about how emotions influence perception — key skills across all areas of learning.

Foster Self-Expression
In a safe, supportive environment, students have the chance to communicate how they feel without needing to find the "perfect words."

Encourages Empathy and Community
Sharing their images and reflections builds understanding, emotional connection, and respect among peers.

Accessible and Inclusive
No photography experience is needed. Every student can participate, regardless of ability, background, or academic level.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Use basic photography as a tool for self-expression and mindfulness.
- Develop an understanding of "perspective" both visually and emotionally.
- Practice noticing small details and shifts in viewpoint to promote positive mental habits.
- Create a small collection of personal images that represent individual perspectives.
Give your students a tool they can carry with them for life — the ability to find calm, beauty, and new perspective in any moment.

SEE LOCATION THEMES

DROP AND RUN POLICY
We know it can be tempting to stay and watch, but where possible, we encourage parents and teachers to “drop and run.” It’s not about keeping you out, it’s about helping young people relax and be themselves without feeling like they need to perform. When they know they’re in a safe, supportive space, they can let go of the pressure and simply enjoy the moment. That’s when the magic happens — when confidence, creativity, and calm naturally shine through.
