A conversation about life, while there is still time.
Some conversations are too important to put off.
Maybe you’ve received a diagnosis. Maybe someone you love is facing the end of their life. Maybe you’re carrying questions, fears or worries that you don’t know how to talk about.
Coffee & Clouds creates space for those conversations.
No clinical setting. No pressure. No agenda.
Just a warm drink, a walk beneath the sky, and someone who will listen.
As a trained End-of-Life Doula, Heather provides informal companionship and support for people navigating serious illness, ageing, grief, loss and end-of-life planning. Sometimes people simply need someone outside their family circle to talk to. Someone who will sit beside them, answer questions honestly and help them work through what comes next.
Every journey looks different.
For some people, Coffee & Clouds is simply a coffee and a chat.
For others, it becomes something much bigger.
How we can help
Questions about dying
Many people have questions they feel uncomfortable asking.
- What happens as someone approaches death?
- What should I expect?
- How do I tell my family what I want?
- How do I talk to my children?
- How do I tell someone I love that I am dying?
There are no silly questions. We will explore them together.
Legacy projects
The things we leave behind are often more valuable than the things we own.
We can help you create meaningful legacy projects including:
- Recording life stories and memories
- Writing letters to loved ones
- Creating memoirs
- Organising photographs
- Capturing family history
- Creating memory books
- Recording video messages for future milestones
Living List Adventures
Sometimes the most important thing is making the most of the time that remains.
Together we can help plan and coordinate meaningful experiences such as:
- Watching one last sunrise
- Visiting a special place
- Seeing the stars from a dark sky location
- Reconnecting with friends or family
- Taking a favourite day trip
- Creating new memories with loved ones
Big or small, every wish matters.
Last Hurrah celebrations
Not every farewell has to happen after someone dies.
Many people choose to celebrate their life while they are still here to enjoy it.
We can help plan meaningful gatherings, celebrations and “Last Hurrah” events where stories are shared, memories are created and people have the chance to say the things that matter most.
Support for family and friends
End-of-life conversations don’t just affect the person who is dying.
Partners, children, parents, friends and carers often carry their own fears, questions and uncertainty.
Coffee & Clouds welcomes anyone who needs support, perspective or simply someone to listen.

Why Coffee & Clouds?
When life feels overwhelming, looking up can remind us how small our worries are in the bigger story of the universe.
- The clouds keep moving.
- The sun rises again.
- The stars continue their journey overhead.
Sometimes we cannot change what is happening, but we can change how we experience it.
Coffee & Clouds offers a chance to slow down, breathe, reflect and focus on what matters most.
One conversation at a time.
Who is this for?
- People living with a life-limiting illness
- People approaching the end of life
- Family members and carers
- People wanting to create legacy projects
- Anyone seeking guidance around difficult conversations
- People wanting support to make the most of the time they have left
You don’t need a referral.
You don’t need to know exactly what you need.
